Life as we know it

What's been going on...
Wow, well we survived the head cold in 100* weather~ which doesn't make sense to me! Besides, who wants soup in that type of weather :) not I!!! And how is it allowed for mothers to be sick while everyone else is sick! They're too busy caring for everyone else and keeping things running that they don't have time to recover! So even though I was 'out' for 2 days, I was somehow still going. I credit the strength I had as a true blessing from the Lord, because I felt miserable! After I halfway recovered, Mark ended up getting sick too (lucky for him he got to call in for those 2 horrid days and actually got some sleep!!!) okay, I'm done :) you can tell i was flustered cuz my babies were miserable too.

So since then we are doing Much better! We enjoyed conference this past weekend and I love doing FHE now with Aubrilynn! It's still hard cuz she has a short attention span, but she is at least able to interact now! (I use the lessons from the nursery Manuel so she ends up having a double dosage) but repitition is good for them~ right! ;)

Also, within this month my girls are going to get to have a cute cousin addition in our family!!! Nate and Kelsey are expecting their baby girl by the end of the month! I'm so excited!!! And so wish I could be there :( I'm not sure when we'll be able to make it up there for a visit.... But all in due time. One day we still may move back ;)

Otherwise, everything is still the same. I play with the girls and enjoy doing learning activities with Aubrilynn! (she's so cute~ a lil' jabber bug!) mark stays crazy busy, school and work, callings and plays with the girls! His game is supposed to come out at the end of the month... It may be the beginning of Nov., but they're really pushing for Oct. 31.... And of course the weather is changing, cooler for all of us- but while you've been enjoying your summer weather, I've been keeping out of it... But now it's in the blessed 90*s ;) so we are out and soaking up the sun, finally!!!! so we better not move anywhere now so I can finally enjoy this :D playgroups may actually be starting up again now that the weather is nice, such a backwards life, eh!

Anyway, that's all I got for now! The fun stuff and visits are just about to begin!!!! I'm soo excited!!!!

....And yes, it is the middle of the night... I'm telling ya, the sleep schedule for my mind and body is all messed up... Hopefully one day I will be able to recover :)

Click* Click* Where's My Pic!

My lil' Kaysia is growing up soo fast- I mean I know they said time flies, but really?!?! This is going faster than I thought! I guess the busier you are the quicker things go :) Time is going by so quickly and with so many changes I havn't been able to keep up with her pics. Kaysia mastered the rolling over technique a long time ago, she has been scooching for awhile and we figure she could be crawling within a week. In these things she has far surpassed Aubrilynn's reocord-- however, AubriLynn was already giggling by now. Kaysia is still attempting - which is so cute- but hasn't got it down. I love watching the girls play. Aubrilynn just plays and Kaysia watches her and giggles. Everyday the song by Martina McBride plays through my head.... 'I have been Blessed' A line in there says, "I can hear my children laughing, down the hall through the bedroom door" Right now that song is basically sums up my life!

So life is good here in Arizona. The temperature has been tolerable and will be even more so in a few weeks! Daily walks and exploring, pool parties with the girls-- which I need to still get pics of my little bobber Aubrilynn. She is such a daredevil. She loves balancing on Marks hand when in the water, still loves to be tossed around, likes to jump into the water and have us catch her. She is so much fun, I love her little personality. Kaysia is just mellow in the water. She just floats and is completely content. It is nice cuz the water is the perfect temp for me (I hate cold water!!!) and I'm sure Kaysia prefers it to the coldness it would originally be anywhere else :)

As for Mark, he is keeping busy~ His work is soo flexible with time! Everyday he makes it to work by 7:30- gets home by 5, and with that schedule it leaves Fridays with the ability to come home by noon!!! Its awesome to have play-days with Daddy and the girls! And he of course has shocked them with his ability and performance in managing and programming games, so they have told him that he is in charge of the programming division (he works with a bunch of game artists) and is now looking for a team of game programmers to hire. The boss put him in charge of the team! Craziness!!! He loves his job! Stress free and he can come home and not have to think about it again til the next day.
And that is that~ I love life~ Life is good~ the gospel is true~ families can be eternal~

The Month After

Okay, so its been about a month since I tried the ten day diet and the result is.... success :) My sweet tooth has in no way diminished, but my body has been thru enough that it doesn't tolerate the junk food much. It makes me sick enough if I do eat it to recommit myself to non- junk food. It does get hard on my emotional days and I want to indulge in the sweets... Therefore I do allow myself some because otherwise I could completely cave in one day. Oddly enough Mark is the opposite- its all or nothing. He can't cave in or he'll do it again and again. Anyways I'm happy with the results. I finally got over the last 15 lbs. I finally have a selection of pants to choose from again since we haven't been able to get anything new since before I was pregnant. So that alone is a relief! Anyway~ that is that.

Testing...

Okay~ So I know I probably sound like an infomercial..... But I'm just so happy with the results how can I not!!! :D I have been at a plateau and unable to loose any more weight for the past 3 months... So, for the past 5 days I have been on a 'loose 10 pounds in 10 days' - its something my dad had found and tried. Since he is a health fanatic I figured it was probably safe and healthy. Wow am I so thankful for it!!! Its day 6 and I feel great and can actually see the results. At first I just saw the weight going down but still didn't see a difference- but day five I felt the difference! The first few days I did get hungry in between meals and craved soo many good foods and sweets, but on day 5 they have you choose your own healthy foods with only 3 meals and no over eating. I realized I wasn't hungry just wanted yummy tasting food. But also realized my body craved healthy food so it could continue feeling good. So day 6 I'm glad to be back on its foods and lose the last 5 pounds then continue to eat the healthy meals I've done before! Its soo nice to be back under my pre-pregnancy weight and almost at my weight from when I got married!!! I actually have clothes I can wear again too! (We've been tight on cash for both of my pregnancy's so money for new clothes has been VERY limited, so I haven't had that luxury of new clothes for all the 'in between' pregnancy and my old weight.)

Anyways~ I just had to share that I've found an awesome 10 day diet that helps jump start the weight loss process so you can continue on. And since I know people say that once you're off the diet the pounds come back on... I'm not posting this for a month after Ive been off the diet so I can truly update you on how it has worked! :)

June/ July

Month of June~ We spent the time staying at my Dad's while Mark worked on creating 2 iphone games and looking for work. Amazingly everything went according to the time frame we figured. The only thing a little off from what we expected was the time we'd be staying back in Utah. We were thinking maybe more long term this time.... But of course are open and flexible since we wanted to get away from the work Mark has been doing with Global Drug Testing and find something he loved and enjoyed. Hence the dedication to creating the games to up his resume. We have been truly blessed with success, for he found work in the exact area he has experience in. Which is programming iphone game in the software unity and C#. Here a sample of his game- he did the cutesy artwork too :)

In the meantime, I was able to visit with a few friends and get caught up! But sadly enough didnt get pics :( And.... perfect timing.... I was able to attend the last of my brothers wedding!!! Jason and Ashley~ they are soo cute together!!

So I attended that with the girls the first week of July~ Which was nice cuz I also got to visit extended family which I hardly get to visit with since Ive been out of state. During this time, we packed up our stuff once again and Mark drove it down to Arizona, Scottsdale where he began work the first of July. So as nice as it was to stay and visit family, it was great to have my lil family reunited with their daddy. The girls are a little cranky after awhile when daddy isn't there to play with 'em. They love their daddy :)

So that oddly brings us up to date... I miss out on so much lil stuff without the Internet to jot it down. Sadly I've been so busy I haven't been able to take many pics either. But life is good here in Arizona. The heat isn't bad at all... humidity is a different story ;) The girls have adjusted well. Aubrilynn is sleeping wonderfully in her toddler bed!!! She sleeps 11- 12 hours nightly. And its soo cute~ after her naps or sleep she stays in her bed til someone comes and gets her. She just plays and talks.... even though she has a whole room of toys and books- she just stays there!!! (wonder how long this will last) Kaysia sleeps well at night- she fusses a few times just wanting her binky. But she goes to bed between 8:30- 9 and I don't get there til 11pm~ so that cuts out on my sleep and they wake early each morning... so oh well, my body just has to kick into overdrive. But welcome to life right :) Anyway~ Aubri is talking up a storm!!! She communicates very well and can express herself. Its so cute, she even says cool in the 'right' context :) She has even started to bob swim! its so cute, she bobs in the water by herself (life jacket thing in suit) and she just giggles and thinks its awesome cuz she is doing it herself! Cute Kaysia is just growin like crazy and is full of smiles and starting to roll over! I love my girls so much!!! My cute lil' family, one day we'll get a family pic! ;)
