This year we attended the trunk-or-treat with the ward which was held outside the church with a chili and pie cook-off!!! It was delicious! Although, we were pretty much on our feet the whole time chasing Aubrilynn up and down a rock hill (which was by a neighborhood street- but hence the constant hovering!!!) It was fun though. Aubrilynn was actually able to go trick-or-treating herself- with the aide of daddy prompting her to say 'trick-or-treat' and 'thank-you'! She was adorable! We didn't get any pictures at the activity sadly- and these are our attempted shots of the girls before the activity! Can I just say this girl does not hold still unless its on her terms! (Seriously- the other night she kept posing and shouting 'I love it' throwing her arms wide open in front of the camera with a huge grin) but with her costume she would hardly sit still let alone look and smile! :)
Anyway- thanks to my mother-in-law for the adorable costumes! We had an sweet lil' Pebbles and lil' Princess for Halloween.
Also, Marks' work wanted him to dress up for work... So we ended up scrapping together an outfit of 'Scarecrow' from Batman... He actually took second place surprisingly!
So that was our Saturday night~ on Sunday we were able to have dinner with the missionaries and a couple investigating the church. We cooked delicious Green enchiladas, spicy refried beans and spanish rice with a cherry cheesecake for dessert! Not only was the food a success, but the evening went wonderfully. Its so nice to have the spirit of missionaries in the home :)

And a pic of Aubrilynn in the duck costume the year before :) I just like to compare the chubby cheeks! Cute Girls!!!
