Life is interesting right now... But amiss all the confusion in my head, the holidays are upon us- ready or not. This Thanksgiving we will be gong to Marks' aunts' in Ogden- they have a huge family (11 kids), so it will be busy and entertaining. But, with those plans in place, I am moving ahead so I will be prepared for my lil' girls 3rd Birthday, on the 30th. And a new family tradition we will be starting in Dec.! It starts the beginning of December so I need to be prepared.
I'm excited because we're starting a countdown to Christmas, so each day we will reveal an activity to do as a lil' family. Also, for bedtime- I will let the girls unwrap a book to read each night for their bedtime story, And I'm still trying to figure how to do a hubby 12 days of Christmas countdown- just for him! (It will probably include a night of playing video games... which I have NEVER done!- hopefully with his crazy, busy, work schedule we can find time without loosing too much more sleep!!!) :) For his 12 days it will be presented on lil bite size hershey's chocolate, wrapped with cute paper and the activity written on the underside!!! And each day he can unwrap it and discover the prize... When I get fully prepared I will maybe get a few pic's up :) But I'm really excited cuz this is the first Christmas I havn't been pregnant and actually have ENERGY!!! wahoo!!! :D
-oh, and before you think it is overwhelming ;) keep in mind, one is for just me and the hubby, after the kids are in bed; the family is a mix of activities for all of us in the evening or with the girls and I during the day (hence why daddy has 12 days) ;) and the books is a part of the bedtime routine... and I found another awesome countdown that is a lil countdown that helps focus on Christ each day- that is lil enough I can squeeze in to the night routine, like a song and scripture or story- which can go with the family scripture reading time... Seems like a lot, but with our routine already in place, the few adjustments really aren't that big of a deal! ;)
Otherwise what has been going on... This past weekend we all get sick... Everyone... Not fun times for Mommy... Hopefully it will pass soon! My poor lil baby just wants to be held, but how can I when my other two are fussy and demanding too because they are sick and I can barely manage to think straight! ;) I'm in survival mode today and have managed to steal some energy, I feel so much better than the past two days- even though I'm still under- the - weather. But being a mommy you discover extraordinary power within! Right... ;) (okay, so I have discovered a secret ingredient to help give me energy, when in desperate need... its a lifesaver - cuz I still only get an average of 6 hours a night... and no, that is not enough for me!!!)
Mark has submitted another Christmas app for the iPhone, it should be out in maybe a week (for all the iPhone people) :) Its called Make-a-snowman. Its cute, you can create and decorate your own lil snowman- it keeps the lil ones occupied!!! ;)
