Okay- so I have been pregnant the past 3 months (now 4) and I didn't even know it... I know, I suppose Im spoiled because I obviously don't have morning sickness-- otherwise I probably would have suspected something!! The thing that gave it away was my intense-abnormal emotional reactions which I realized were me acting rediculous over nothing :S (sorry Mark!) :) umm- then came tiredness- ALL the time (i thought it was cuz I was chasing the lil one all the time ;) but, what confirmed it all was the fact that I realized the movement I was feeling inside, that began to surface, was all too familiar! Wow- 3 months without realizing! Im crazy! So now that I am in my 17th week, my first appointment will be for tests and being able to find out what I am having will apparently have to wait possibly for another month! Im still struggling with the docs! I have an appointment on the 23rd... but will need to end up switching docs again anyway so we'll see how it goes.

But what I do know is that I'm due around Feb. 19th! So that is that for now :)

As for Dad, he is excited-- AubriLynn, she is just crazy-- so happy, so hyper... and yet so demanding to mommy when its nap time or eating time-- wow-- if you only knew. But if Im not there, she is flexible with her routine :)

I know they look like 'boy' PJ's.... but its SOOO- HOT down here... they are the best ones to keep her cool in her sleep!

El mano de Dios

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you (3 Nephi 13:31-33).

There is nothing more important in this world than keeping the commandments of God and seeking after Eternal Life. "..for he that hath Eternal Life is rich." And what more could we want than to be bestowed the riches of a Heavenly King.

The Lord is ever manifest in our little family's life. A short while ago the Lord told me that if I wanted to better mine and my family's lives that I should forsake all unrighteousness and its associates and draw near unto Him. I quit my schooling and career path to do something more enriching and spiritual. Such a hard change can be a difficult occurance in any family. I started my mobile massage business, which has brought in some income but not much. The ultimate goal was to open a Spa. I told the Lord that in order to more fully serve him, and help "feed the hungry...and clothe the naked" that I desired to open a Spa business. Some opportunities presented themselves in which we could purchase an existing spa. After much mighty prayer the Lord told us that we would be blessed with the means to aqcuire a business, or to start one of our own. We started thinking of every means necessary to obtain funds for a down payment on the purchase of a business. We felt inspired that we should hold a yard sale and sale all of luxury/leisure items. Being fresh out of ideas on how to obtain money, and with savings funds running low to pay bills. The Lord blessed us again. We will be taking over a Hair Salon in Fresno, CA in 1-2 weeks. The required money down is the same amount that we made from our yard sale.

We know that the Lord is active in our lives, and are grateful that He is allowing us the opportunity to improve our financial situation, as well help some friends who we are going to involve in our business.

I can't help but to report on our families situation with including the reasons behind our actions and thoughts. For the Lord is the One who is in command of everything, and only to Him can we give thanks for our blessings. Life is great. Aubrilynn is crawling and getting into tons of trouble.

Change of Heart

A change of heart, and a change of an author for this blog entry. This is Mark writing. My wife felt that she should give an update on our current status, and being as we have had so many recent changes in life, I felt that I should personally write this and explain the joyous events that have taken place and enriched our lives. I had been working for Global Drug Testing for two years and had just moved to San Jose, California, with Melissa about ready to have Aubrilynn. In this time of severe change, the Lord made it known unto me, that in order to more fully fulfill my purpose on this earth spiritually, as well my family's, that I needed to immediately quit my career. After being haunted by a lifelong desire to produce video games, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend a school which offered programs that would allow me to do such. Eventually the Lord moved us to Tulare, with me going to school in LA. We have been humbled both spiritually as well as financially. This has been a joyous time of growth for the both of us. The Lord has supported me in my school endeavours and blessed me in many ways relating to my pursuits. But as I have gone to school, I have become better acquainted with the Spirit and the purposes of God, which is to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man". I have been exposed to much wickedness as I have lived in LA, which isn't anything that I haven't observed in the past years. However, while going to school I have re-realized the need for the gospel to be taught to the world. After much prayer and deliberation the Lord told me that, yes He will support me in whatever endeavors I decide to take, but to remember to "Seek not for riches but for wisdom; and, behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich(D&C 11:7)." Yes I could go to school and make games and keep in the favor of the Lord, but how much more fulfilling could my life be if I put myself in a place where I could focus fully on the gospel, and applying it into the lives of myself, my family, and my neighbors. With all of this in my mind I decided to quit school and to "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you (meaning the material things and riches of the world)." So I am now living in Tulare full time and will be from this point on, solely dedicated to the things I know are important. I have been waiting for this moment since I completed a two year mission, and after much training and learning in the world, I feel that the Lord has seen fit to allow me to be a full time warrior in His kingdom once again. We will be finding a new apartment or home to rent soon. I have started a local body therapy and care business. We perform mobile, massages, hairstyling, cosmetology, and more, from the comforts of our clients own homes. (http://www.bodyliketemple.com/ -still under construction) The company is called BodyTemple Therapy. Life is good and we are deeply blessed. And that is what is happening in our life right now.
