One Day at A Time

Okay, so I am exhausted~ hence the reason I haven't been updating forever. And since that is how it is, I'm to tired and short on time to play catch up, so I'll just let the pic's tell their own story and maybe I'll get around to filling in later... Here are a few pics from Easter. Eventually I'll get up more- but it would just be around the house and park pics cuz that's all the energy I can muster up for going places these days :) I am just ready to have this baby, survive the month after that so I can finally get on a regular schedule with my kids and have my energy back! Then I have a curriculum I am so excited for! I love teaching my lil ones! Couldn't ask for a better 'job'!

Girls are still young so we decided to have a trail leading from the bedroom to their baskets

Aubrilynn and the toy she is has been obsessed with :)

And this is as close as we can get for a pic of the girls in their Easter dresses and it being a family pic.... Impatient girls, kids being kids and us short on time.... Thats as good as it will get for now :)

On this Road Again...

Yes, I am used to it by now so I don't mind much. (only cuz my family is relatively small!!) What I do mind... is this freezing cold weather! I would gladly wait til the snow was gone and come back in May :)
Anyway, yes, surprise! We are back in Utah- staying in Daybreak for 6 months then will find another more fitting spot for us. But right now this spot serves great because Mark's work (church building off of Bangerter) is within 10 min. We were also able to find a spacious 3 room apartment which was hard to find. Everything may have been last minute, but has fallen perfectly into place. This has been an answered prayer for Mark (and I). Everything he has desired in a job, has or is becoming manifest. We are truly humbled and truly grateful.

Arizona will be greatly missed, as is Illinois. We have had such amazing experiences in the short times we have been located in these places. Illinois with the people and how they opened their hearts and welcomed us into their homes. They were so kind hearted and willing to help out in any way. (Which was so very much appreciated since I had Kaysia out there) Those experiences helped us remember who we wanted to be as a family in the ward/ world. In Arizona we had the opportunity to give back and that we did, making closer friendships then would have been possible. Our Christmas was spent with a family who had also just moved out there away from their family members. Anyway, its just amazing at all the cherished memories we are able to create- we just have to remember to keep our eyes/ hearts open. Along with all these memories have come some intense learning and building faith experiences. For me personally, it definitely has not been easy and I continue to have my share of building up my faith and trust. Hence I am so grateful to have such a dedicated and patient husband who supports me personally no matter how I'm reacting :)

What of other news.... My baby girls are sick... and have been sick back and forth for the last 3 weeks but now both have it. So hopefully now that we're settled I can tackle it once and for all!!! My poor babies!!! Otherwise just tackling the unpacking and organizing stuff. And as it now just seems to be as with every major move- what comes hand in hand with it?!?! Well, yes, surprise again- Coming this Summer of 2011.... ;)

Randomness

Smile Kaysia!!!

Taking out the ...wash....

Kaysia after visiting Aubri in the tub :)

Aubrilynn is now the big 0~2!!! And has the personality to show it ;)
She is talking and constructing bigger sentences, has fluctuating mood swings, has everlasting energy. I'm sad because the 2 free hours I used to have daily are definitely a thing of the past. She is now sleeping 12 hours at night and therefore does not want/ need a day nap anymore. I can't complain because for now it is such a pleasant experience putting her to bed. Every night we put her down at 8pm and she talks quietly a few min's then falls asleep and we don't hear a peep till 8am!!! I just need to figure out what to do with her for the extra 2 hours. Quiet time doesn't last very long anymore so- yeah...

What to report- went to Benihana's for Marks work Christmas party. I've missed that taste soo much. I crave their soup and steak! oh, the company was good too ;) His company released their first game the other month, 'Word Warrior'. They are already getting another thrown together and working on its release soon. They hope to release one a month. Mark hired another programmer at work. He is LDS so that makes it nice since its 'quite' the environment- if ya know what I mean...

Umm- I'm not thinking straight at the moment, its been a hard past few days for me energy wise. Mark has his finals this week, so it will be nice for him to get that done.
What else-- Kaysia is already 9 months- I wouldn't be surprised if she was walking in 2 months. That's all I can report right now- I've waited to write til I feel more up to it, but that day just hasn't come (or it did and I just didn't have time) ;) so I just wrote so I can fill in the gaps when I go back and do a printout for a scrapbook.

Double Celebration

This past weekend we traveled to the desert in So. Cali to visit with Marks' family and grandparents. Sadly enough all the Thanksgiving pictures are on our other camera... So I don't have any of those festivities :(

And since we were down there among family, and Aubrilynns' Birthday is just around the corner... We had a lil' birthday celebration. So here is the soon to be 2 year old!!!

And Aubrilynn just being cute!

For our FHE activity we went for a walk with Aubrilynns new toy! She loved it :)

What also made the trip heavenly was the chance for Mark and I to go out on a date with free babysitting!!! It was so nice to just be with him and hang out again! We made a day of it and got some shopping done (it was 'black Friday' but there was no getting up early, no crowds, no lines and we still got the items we wanted! There just must be something about Utah that makes black Friday crazy ;) ) , then we saw a good movie and had a Delicious Lunch!

Anyway, that was our weekend :) And now my baby girl is now a toddler and turns 2 tomorrow!!! I can't believe it is here already! Seems like just a month ago we were in Illinois, in a hotel, celebrating her first birthday!!!

Happy Halloween (^_^)

This year we attended the trunk-or-treat with the ward which was held outside the church with a chili and pie cook-off!!! It was delicious! Although, we were pretty much on our feet the whole time chasing Aubrilynn up and down a rock hill (which was by a neighborhood street- but hence the constant hovering!!!) It was fun though. Aubrilynn was actually able to go trick-or-treating herself- with the aide of daddy prompting her to say 'trick-or-treat' and 'thank-you'! She was adorable! We didn't get any pictures at the activity sadly- and these are our attempted shots of the girls before the activity! Can I just say this girl does not hold still unless its on her terms! (Seriously- the other night she kept posing and shouting 'I love it' throwing her arms wide open in front of the camera with a huge grin) but with her costume she would hardly sit still let alone look and smile! :)
Anyway- thanks to my mother-in-law for the adorable costumes! We had an sweet lil' Pebbles and lil' Princess for Halloween.

Also, Marks' work wanted him to dress up for work... So we ended up scrapping together an outfit of 'Scarecrow' from Batman... He actually took second place surprisingly!

So that was our Saturday night~ on Sunday we were able to have dinner with the missionaries and a couple investigating the church. We cooked delicious Green enchiladas, spicy refried beans and spanish rice with a cherry cheesecake for dessert! Not only was the food a success, but the evening went wonderfully. Its so nice to have the spirit of missionaries in the home :)

And a pic of Aubrilynn in the duck costume the year before :) I just like to compare the chubby cheeks! Cute Girls!!!
