Home Sweet Home

Kaysia Lynn Price
March 15 @ 11:52pm~ 8lbs 9oz~ 19 inches~
She is a lil' doll! Even though she is almost as big as Aubrilynn was, she still somehow seems more fragile and tiny than Aubri ever was. Home~life is good, what more can I say :) Kaysia is an added blessing already to our home. Aubrilynn is adjusting slowly but is doing pretty good handling the new living situation. She loves babies and is always excited to point them out and acknowledge her little sister, however at times doesn't know how she feels about sharing the undivided attention she once had from her parents :) But she is glad Kaysia sleeps a lot in the day so she can still have us all to herself!
I love the fact that my baby girl has finally arrived and my life is once again able to start falling back into place! Which I may still have some postpartum stuff to deal with, but oddly I just haven't come upon some of it yet. My emotions feel like they are back in order and I have my zest for life back, along with some energy. (still working around the babys' irregular sleep schedule, which is hard but with the zest it helps me pull through it well!) I think the Lord is just blessing me tremendously and answering our prayers :)
The ward here is wonderful and very helpful for which we are extremely thankful. And Mark is an incredible husband... what more can I say. I am truly blessed.

We all want to Spring ahead!!

Waiting....waiting....waiting.... for uh~ spring that is :) you know, warm weather, sunshine, playing in the park with hyper active lil ones! The pregnancy?! oh- yeah, that too.... :)
(yeah can ya tell Im so wanting it to just be done! How much more can one prepare?!) In the meantime, I cherish the days of warm weather-- which we only had 2 these past 2 weeks! And yes, the opportunity to take Aubrilyn to the park was snatched up! --By my husband (I was soo tired I missed out :( But they had a blast! He says she was keeping up with all the 2 yr olds- only difference was in the way she waddled while running! She climbed up everything herself and couldn't get enough! (This was the extra mini-sized play ground mind-you!) Wish I was there, but waiting for this rain to go away so we can go again. I don't like being trapped in this house-- then again the thought chasing her around... Hence why I'd need Mark there! :)

So, other than the waiting game in ALL aspects, nothing else seems to be happening in my mind... I kind of have a very narrow focus of all that is going on. Not to mention being soo scatter brained I forget everything! So~ here are some pics of my baby girls first time at the park- even sliding all by herself! (If I was there, I would have probably been a nervous wreck imagining all the ways she could hurt herself!)

I want chocolate.... :]

Aubrilyn's new favorite past time..... Walking outside.....
She is soo active-which is great- but right now, whoosh, it drives me crazy! (and out of every ounce of energy I have) But its nice cuz it keeps me walking. :) Maybe it will help the baby come faster............ But I think my subconscious will the battle and I will go over :) We will see- 13 Days *sigh* (till the due date at least!)

Everything else is good. Wonderful hubby who helps out soo much... I just need to find a couple more hours so my "Spring Cleaning" will be done before the baby arrives and hopefully I can maintain it (hey, I can wish! :) [and keep in mind- small apartment and ONLY one kid at the moment-- for those of you who wish your spring cleaning was almost done..... Most of you far surpass me in the number of kiddos!! -just give me a couple more years! hehe :D ]

-24-

...Days that is! well, at least until the due date. I can do it!

So, here is my 'baby bump' pic... At church the other day I was asked when my due date was and they said that I was still so small.... are you kidding me! I'm huge!!! I feel huge! Maybe my jacket or shirt caused an illusion, even though I don't think there is any way to get around it. Anyway- I can't wait :) I'm soo ready to be done

Just One More Month...

So- doc says most likely it tis a girl! So that is nice to know-- finally!!! And, I get to recycle all my cute baby girl clothes! I'm okay with that :) And Aubrilynn is obsessed with 'ba-be's' (babies), so it will be interesting to see how she reacts. (Cuz when I was holding my lil niece Sophie while babysitting one time, she looked at me confused and I believe a little jealous!!)

Its nice that I don't have to prepare too- much, even though there is plenty to do. Only problem now is I am becoming COMPLETELY drained, sleep is beginning to shorten even more so at night because 1-I can't find a comfortable position 2-Its back to the times where you wake up several times throughout the night (then I can't fall back asleep for hours! don't understand that one!) 3- I wake up to a lil one shifting around like crazy- when there is no room left in there to shift (she needs to accept that!!!) So not only do I wake up feeling the pressure on whatever side I am on- I also feel like my stomach is bruised to all the inside shifting!! Its so not fun!!! Aubrilynn moved a ton, but wow-- not like this and this often!!! Therefore with all the discomfort (which my good friend pointed out it is to help me desire to actually go through labor again!) which, now- yes, please- anytime now! :) But no, I must wait a month, probably even plus cuz that's just how it goes for me! And if I only had some energy- and if Aubrilynn would just go back to taking her naps.... and when she does the other one be asleep to so I can fall asleep.... *sigh* okay.... I'm done wishing and complaining! Life moves on...

Luckily I have a wonderful husband who helps out soo much. He is absolutely wonderful with Aubrilyn and they are soo cute when they play together. I love hearing her giggles :) He is keeping busy but does wonderful balancing everything.
I guess for now there's not much else to report-- except for I can't wait for spring/summer!!!

Life Moves On...

Hmm- what to report...
Top of my mind is 50 days to go and counting... Still looking forward to the 10 day checkup, Because this will tell me the gender of my happy and kicking 24/7 (so it seems!) little bundle! In the meantime I have been able to pick up naps again, every now and then :) I am enjoying them while I can!!

As of right now, our home has finally been struck by the cold. Started when Aubrilynn began teething again and got her- and has now carried on to the hubby! So far I have been able to hold it off. Makes me wonder if it will be a repeat of my last pregnancy where I was never sick until the last month it hit me good.... I must remain strong.... :) Wish me luck!

The weather is 'nice'. It was freezing here for a while- ice cold air at 7* outside with sun. Lately its turned into mist and rain but is pleasant enough I don't freeze going to my car. Hangs around 34* i think for now. But no snow and some sun, so im not complaining!!! Even tho its still not something I can take Aubrilynn 'out to play'. So we find other activities. One she has become excited about is watching Blue's Clue's. She will sit and watch a whole episode before she even comes looking for me! So nice to have a moment of time to get stuff done without her clinging at my feet!! Its odd- she is an independent girl, however still is often clinging to my feet wanting me to join. But when daddy is home-- she can go off and entertain herself for hours... Is that typical?
Anyway- life is good. Work is work for Mark, still studies programming on the side and has been able to help some of the courts on their programming problems- so thats cool. He is amazing :) Not much other to report except I love my lil' family and miss my friends and family! Hope all is well!
