This past week ended up going by so fast~ We unexpectedly ended up packing up last minute Monday evening and driving to Landers, California for Marks' Grandfathers funeral. He passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening. We drove Monday through the night (Aubrilynn slept pretty good- Kaysia.... only 2hrs out of the 10 hour drive!) She eventually got caught up on sleep. It was a neat service- I missed out on the ceremony part so I could watch the girls and keep them quiet, but Mark says it was very neat. Powerful testimonies were borne and a lot of the family was non-members, but the spirit was definitely present. It was the first time I was able to meet all of Marks' side of the family. I forget there are 7 siblings to his grandparents... Cuz I only really know his mom, and her two sisters. Anyway, we stayed for a few days then headed back home thursday evening, drove thru the night. Got home at 5:30am- sleep at 6am. The girls did well sleeping in the car this time around- I of course being 1 1/2 weeks away from my due date did not sleep at all! Mark was amazing and drove the whole way, so we were both exhausted. Thankfully we were blessed with four hours of sleep once we got home! The girls went right back to bed when we got home and slept 4 more hours!!! Needless to say the day went by quickly and although a recovery day, we were able to fit in time at the pool with the girls and I got some good cleaning done and Mark his homework and rearranging some things. It was a good relaxing weekend. Now this upcoming week is the joy of final preparations for the coming of our lil baby boy!!! (I am so ready!!!) I can't believe it still! A lil boy... what will I do ;)
