Happy Halloween (^_^)

This year we attended the trunk-or-treat with the ward which was held outside the church with a chili and pie cook-off!!! It was delicious! Although, we were pretty much on our feet the whole time chasing Aubrilynn up and down a rock hill (which was by a neighborhood street- but hence the constant hovering!!!) It was fun though. Aubrilynn was actually able to go trick-or-treating herself- with the aide of daddy prompting her to say 'trick-or-treat' and 'thank-you'! She was adorable! We didn't get any pictures at the activity sadly- and these are our attempted shots of the girls before the activity! Can I just say this girl does not hold still unless its on her terms! (Seriously- the other night she kept posing and shouting 'I love it' throwing her arms wide open in front of the camera with a huge grin) but with her costume she would hardly sit still let alone look and smile! :)
Anyway- thanks to my mother-in-law for the adorable costumes! We had an sweet lil' Pebbles and lil' Princess for Halloween.

Also, Marks' work wanted him to dress up for work... So we ended up scrapping together an outfit of 'Scarecrow' from Batman... He actually took second place surprisingly!

So that was our Saturday night~ on Sunday we were able to have dinner with the missionaries and a couple investigating the church. We cooked delicious Green enchiladas, spicy refried beans and spanish rice with a cherry cheesecake for dessert! Not only was the food a success, but the evening went wonderfully. Its so nice to have the spirit of missionaries in the home :)

And a pic of Aubrilynn in the duck costume the year before :) I just like to compare the chubby cheeks! Cute Girls!!!

Aubrilynns' October

My October was filled with adventures. Once when we went for a walk outside I saw this... HUGE lake that I immediately ran to and jumped in! It was so much better than all the little puddles on the sidewalk that mommy lets me jump in.

I played and played while mommy and daddy watched and laughed. They finally convinced me to come inside for a bath and promised to give me an ice cube!!! I love ice cubes! :D

In my October we also went to the park and Kaysia went swinging for the first time and I got to climb, swing, slide, run, explore and swing around like a monkey! It was great!

In my October mommy and Daddy took me to a place with pumpkins, animals, tunnels and this yellow pokey stuff. It was fun. I explored everywhere. They wanted me to pick a pumpkin to decorate it, but there was too much to explore. So they said we'd take it home and carve it later.

There is a lot of eating yummy treats in my October, ice cream walks, laughing and giggling with Kaysia... I love her. We get to attack daddy all the time and he still tosses me up and we count together! I love it!

That's a few of the things I've done in my October! Gramma is making me a costume for Halloween. I get to be Pebbles! Still lots of exciting stuff going on!
Oh! Mommy says I will have a cousin any day now!!! Still waiting for baby Alysha Brewer to come out!!!

Birthday Wish

Today is in remembrance of My Mother~
Once again her Birthday comes and goes with memories of her found in photographs and memories of the mind. And all that I can help wishing is that I had just a little more time with her, to get to know her... If only I was a little older, if only I had known and could have realized, if only....
There are several wishful thoughts that could go trough my mind over and over~ but comfort truly does come through the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I will have the opportunity to see her again. I can have the opportunity to live with her again if I am but faithful. She was an incredible example, this I do know and remember. The reason I can remember it so vividly is because she had that radiance about her, you could feel it in her presence and when you looked into her eyes. She lived the Gospel of Christ. She also left a special gift for me behind through her journals. She kept her journals through her college and mission years- this is how I was able to get to know my mother and who she was. Being young its so hard to see past yourself and events that are going on in your life. I am thankful for the opportunity I have to read those journal entries to get to know my mother, since time was cut so short for us. I can hardly believe its been 12 years since her passing. My heart aches often at the thought that my girls can never meet her in this life and that I can never call her with my questions, concerns, worries, and excitements, let alone just to talk.
~Yeah, its a hard day... But I love her, miss her and am thankful for the journal entries and will forever hold them close to my heart. She was incredible and left an amazing example of what it means to be Christlike, with her time here on the earth. I smile at the thought of knowing she is finally reunited with her own mother and father, along with her amazing brother (Clair) and sister (Carol). (Whom were also incredible people with an amazing spirit about them too.)
Anyway~ Happy Birthday to My dear Mother~ You are greatly missed by many, With Love

Life as we know it

What's been going on...
Wow, well we survived the head cold in 100* weather~ which doesn't make sense to me! Besides, who wants soup in that type of weather :) not I!!! And how is it allowed for mothers to be sick while everyone else is sick! They're too busy caring for everyone else and keeping things running that they don't have time to recover! So even though I was 'out' for 2 days, I was somehow still going. I credit the strength I had as a true blessing from the Lord, because I felt miserable! After I halfway recovered, Mark ended up getting sick too (lucky for him he got to call in for those 2 horrid days and actually got some sleep!!!) okay, I'm done :) you can tell i was flustered cuz my babies were miserable too.

So since then we are doing Much better! We enjoyed conference this past weekend and I love doing FHE now with Aubrilynn! It's still hard cuz she has a short attention span, but she is at least able to interact now! (I use the lessons from the nursery Manuel so she ends up having a double dosage) but repitition is good for them~ right! ;)

Also, within this month my girls are going to get to have a cute cousin addition in our family!!! Nate and Kelsey are expecting their baby girl by the end of the month! I'm so excited!!! And so wish I could be there :( I'm not sure when we'll be able to make it up there for a visit.... But all in due time. One day we still may move back ;)

Otherwise, everything is still the same. I play with the girls and enjoy doing learning activities with Aubrilynn! (she's so cute~ a lil' jabber bug!) mark stays crazy busy, school and work, callings and plays with the girls! His game is supposed to come out at the end of the month... It may be the beginning of Nov., but they're really pushing for Oct. 31.... And of course the weather is changing, cooler for all of us- but while you've been enjoying your summer weather, I've been keeping out of it... But now it's in the blessed 90*s ;) so we are out and soaking up the sun, finally!!!! so we better not move anywhere now so I can finally enjoy this :D playgroups may actually be starting up again now that the weather is nice, such a backwards life, eh!

Anyway, that's all I got for now! The fun stuff and visits are just about to begin!!!! I'm soo excited!!!!

....And yes, it is the middle of the night... I'm telling ya, the sleep schedule for my mind and body is all messed up... Hopefully one day I will be able to recover :)

Click* Click* Where's My Pic!

My lil' Kaysia is growing up soo fast- I mean I know they said time flies, but really?!?! This is going faster than I thought! I guess the busier you are the quicker things go :) Time is going by so quickly and with so many changes I havn't been able to keep up with her pics. Kaysia mastered the rolling over technique a long time ago, she has been scooching for awhile and we figure she could be crawling within a week. In these things she has far surpassed Aubrilynn's reocord-- however, AubriLynn was already giggling by now. Kaysia is still attempting - which is so cute- but hasn't got it down. I love watching the girls play. Aubrilynn just plays and Kaysia watches her and giggles. Everyday the song by Martina McBride plays through my head.... 'I have been Blessed' A line in there says, "I can hear my children laughing, down the hall through the bedroom door" Right now that song is basically sums up my life!

So life is good here in Arizona. The temperature has been tolerable and will be even more so in a few weeks! Daily walks and exploring, pool parties with the girls-- which I need to still get pics of my little bobber Aubrilynn. She is such a daredevil. She loves balancing on Marks hand when in the water, still loves to be tossed around, likes to jump into the water and have us catch her. She is so much fun, I love her little personality. Kaysia is just mellow in the water. She just floats and is completely content. It is nice cuz the water is the perfect temp for me (I hate cold water!!!) and I'm sure Kaysia prefers it to the coldness it would originally be anywhere else :)

As for Mark, he is keeping busy~ His work is soo flexible with time! Everyday he makes it to work by 7:30- gets home by 5, and with that schedule it leaves Fridays with the ability to come home by noon!!! Its awesome to have play-days with Daddy and the girls! And he of course has shocked them with his ability and performance in managing and programming games, so they have told him that he is in charge of the programming division (he works with a bunch of game artists) and is now looking for a team of game programmers to hire. The boss put him in charge of the team! Craziness!!! He loves his job! Stress free and he can come home and not have to think about it again til the next day.
And that is that~ I love life~ Life is good~ the gospel is true~ families can be eternal~
