July...

The day at the zoo!

The girls on a scenic walk by our house

These are the "triplets" all born within a month of each other (Deklan and Landon(Jared's boy) within 5 days of each other!!! L->R Deklan Price, Kingston Brewer, Landon Brewer :)

Luckily this month seems to be going by a bit faster than last... Maybe because I am getting a little more sleep so its more bearable ;) Deklan is finally starting to sleep about 6-7 hours through the night- the price paid is a struggle-some 4 hours (6pm-10p) of him being awake right before bed (his choosing of course!) But he doesn't like to sit and chill like the girls did at that age, (probably because he fears for his life from his sisters if they find him!) he always wants to be held, fed, rocked- something. So that makes it difficult cuz its right in the middle of my getting dinner ready and the girls ready for bed. But- as long as I can plan ahead- usually things work fine so it is worth it!

For the 4th we didn't do too much- a barbecue would have been awesome but oh well, its hard with 3 lil ones and crankiness and sleep. Although, I have discovered if I give Aubrilynn a nap during the day, she will not fall asleep til 9:30- 10pm--- and still wake up by 7:30!!! So, for the 24th, if we can find any 'sky' fireworks- she will be there. She is soo excited and loved watching them outside our house, which luckily has an awesome, open view of them! She was scared of the noisy ones and street ones- which was kinda odd. Kaysia was ok with street ones, she wanted to sleep instead of watch sky ones. Anyway- not too exciting but we loved it!

Next week we finally get to move! We found a place- oddly enough its next door to one of my brothers! Its a house and has a nice lil back yard!!! Yay! Year lease, so it looks like we're not leaving Utah any time soon. But I must say, I agree with Mark this time around- going to church here in Utah is overwhelming- as opposed to everywhere else we've been. I sensed it before as I was growing up but didn't know different and just dealt with it. But NOW, seeing the 'norm' and coming back... wow... no me gusta!!! Everyone is soo preoccupied with keeping up appearances and not interested in making true genuine friendships it seems... Yes, we do our part and strike up conversation and have invited people over in every state we've been... something is just off here! And- for the first time ever- we went to our class and couldn't go because there was no room left! ~Different~ that's in our "new' ward too... Its just overwhelming and makes me want out... But, nevertheless, I am excited to move for several reasons- and like someone said, guess we just need to keep searching for the family in the ward that we can click with :)

Lil' Miss Personality

My lil stud!

Cute sisters!!!

Big sister~

Summer swimmin~

Wow, I have officially survived the first month... Only how many more to go before I can get more than 4-5 hours??? ;)
This past month has been busy in a different sense- basically of recovery and adjustment. Had the baby on May 24th, ended up staying in the hospital for a total of 30 hours instead of the full time... And within a week of being home, I became sick and that coupled with being major sleep deprived, didn't help the sickness go away very fast! Poor little Deklan had high jaundice and a bruised lil face, so he needed special treatment when we got him home. Nevertheless~ We did survive and Mark was wonderful and helped out as best he could!

Now I'm just waiting for my lil one to pick his sleep schedule so I can adjust accordingly (and hopefully find sleep myself) and try and get the girls out to enjoy their summer. I feel bad cause we've been taking the girls out swimming and to different parks but I haven't been able to get many pic's cause I have my hands full. Mark does well when he takes the two girls and gets cute pics. Anyway, that is all that has been going on- me adjusting to the new baby, the girls playing in the sun -finally since the weather is being nice now- Mark working like crazy, doing school like crazy and busy with his calling and playing with the girls.

We are getting ready to move at the end of July- haven't officially started looking yet, but all we know is we're looking to rent a house!!! We are through with annoying apartments and need a back yard for the girlies! The other day I was able to venture out with the 3 kids and go and visit with friends at one of their houses. The kids all played in the water in the back yard and it was soo relaxing!!! I need to do things like that more often :) So yeah, a house... somewhere. We're thinking maybe around west jordan or maybe venture up around Ogden if his work gives Mark a certain project to work on, guess we'll find out this next month.

June has been the longest lasting month ever it seems- but looking back I can't remember much of what we've done. I know we managed to sneak a half date in there somewhere (took Deklan) and then a few other outings. My mind still isn't back to thinking straight, as you can tell. Amazingly however, despite the lack of sleep I find my self with sufficient survival energy to get me through the days. (Although if you ask Mark, I'm sure he'll have a different story regarding how grumpy I am in the mornings ;) which may be true but I must say I am definitely handeling little sleep better than I EVER did when I had the girls!!! -He will agree with that!)

That is all I can come up with for updates at the moment. I am eager for Deklan to be 2 1/2 months, I know I shouldn't 'rush' away time... but with 3 lil ones I am eager to start my new routine/ curriculum with them, which I am very excited for the changes and things to implement! Hopefully it will help Aubrilynn be more tame too ;)

Welcome Deklan Layne Price

Yay! My time finally came! Deklan Layne Price - 8 lbs. 4oz. - 20 in.
Its so nice to have him here and me to be able to attempt and recover, my girls are not making it easy, but nevertheless its worth it and I wouldn't change a thing. (agewise- if I could make them happy 100% of the time... yeah... twould be nice!)
ps. yes we did last- minute change the name, due to the surprise (yet again) red blondish hair! We decided to grasp our Irish roots and give him an Irish name :) So, that's where that name suddenly appeared from!
I'm not going make this long cuz I am dead tired and of course sleep deprived, therefore unable to think straight and I'm sure I'd ramble on- So I'll just list the facts and hopefully get pics up soon.
~The week before Deklan came my girls were sick with the flu- luckily it was short lived and they were healthy by the time he arrived :)
~Mark has such a busy schedule but he has been such an amazing help with the girls and household things, I am so blessed to have him in my life!!!
~My stay at the hospital ended up short lived (24 hours) due to unknown insurance issues :(
~Deklan was born with tons of bruises on his face and right arm (reason unknown) which didn't help with the jaundice, so we've been doing the billi bed thing at home for him.... He sleeps a lot and eats little... But doc says he's doing okay.
~Aubrilynn absolutely loves her baby brother and talks and asks about him a lot, its adorable!!
~Kaysia is growing up so quickly- she is very observant and responsive to everything and knows what she wants. She uses some words with gestures to communicate it to us, she is soo cute!
~Aubrilynn is at that age of knowing what she wants and starting to show stubbornness... This will get interesting! She of course is still adorable despite her tantrum moments :)
~I forget how miserable the recovery part is... Hopefully it won't last long so I can forget it again! I'm very excited to get my strength back so i can begin my routine with the girls, hopefully it will help cure some of the tantrums!!!

That's all I can think of right now, I will get some cute pics up of the girls- hopefully soon- of them at the zoo, they love spending time with their daddy :)

And seriously.... weather.... can't you be sunny ever!!! I've been depressed long enough!!! ;)

Crazy Week

This past week ended up going by so fast~ We unexpectedly ended up packing up last minute Monday evening and driving to Landers, California for Marks' Grandfathers funeral. He passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening. We drove Monday through the night (Aubrilynn slept pretty good- Kaysia.... only 2hrs out of the 10 hour drive!) She eventually got caught up on sleep. It was a neat service- I missed out on the ceremony part so I could watch the girls and keep them quiet, but Mark says it was very neat. Powerful testimonies were borne and a lot of the family was non-members, but the spirit was definitely present. It was the first time I was able to meet all of Marks' side of the family. I forget there are 7 siblings to his grandparents... Cuz I only really know his mom, and her two sisters. Anyway, we stayed for a few days then headed back home thursday evening, drove thru the night. Got home at 5:30am- sleep at 6am. The girls did well sleeping in the car this time around- I of course being 1 1/2 weeks away from my due date did not sleep at all! Mark was amazing and drove the whole way, so we were both exhausted. Thankfully we were blessed with four hours of sleep once we got home! The girls went right back to bed when we got home and slept 4 more hours!!! Needless to say the day went by quickly and although a recovery day, we were able to fit in time at the pool with the girls and I got some good cleaning done and Mark his homework and rearranging some things. It was a good relaxing weekend. Now this upcoming week is the joy of final preparations for the coming of our lil baby boy!!! (I am so ready!!!) I can't believe it still! A lil boy... what will I do ;)

One Day at A Time

Okay, so I am exhausted~ hence the reason I haven't been updating forever. And since that is how it is, I'm to tired and short on time to play catch up, so I'll just let the pic's tell their own story and maybe I'll get around to filling in later... Here are a few pics from Easter. Eventually I'll get up more- but it would just be around the house and park pics cuz that's all the energy I can muster up for going places these days :) I am just ready to have this baby, survive the month after that so I can finally get on a regular schedule with my kids and have my energy back! Then I have a curriculum I am so excited for! I love teaching my lil ones! Couldn't ask for a better 'job'!

Girls are still young so we decided to have a trail leading from the bedroom to their baskets

Aubrilynn and the toy she is has been obsessed with :)

And this is as close as we can get for a pic of the girls in their Easter dresses and it being a family pic.... Impatient girls, kids being kids and us short on time.... Thats as good as it will get for now :)

On this Road Again...

Yes, I am used to it by now so I don't mind much. (only cuz my family is relatively small!!) What I do mind... is this freezing cold weather! I would gladly wait til the snow was gone and come back in May :)
Anyway, yes, surprise! We are back in Utah- staying in Daybreak for 6 months then will find another more fitting spot for us. But right now this spot serves great because Mark's work (church building off of Bangerter) is within 10 min. We were also able to find a spacious 3 room apartment which was hard to find. Everything may have been last minute, but has fallen perfectly into place. This has been an answered prayer for Mark (and I). Everything he has desired in a job, has or is becoming manifest. We are truly humbled and truly grateful.

Arizona will be greatly missed, as is Illinois. We have had such amazing experiences in the short times we have been located in these places. Illinois with the people and how they opened their hearts and welcomed us into their homes. They were so kind hearted and willing to help out in any way. (Which was so very much appreciated since I had Kaysia out there) Those experiences helped us remember who we wanted to be as a family in the ward/ world. In Arizona we had the opportunity to give back and that we did, making closer friendships then would have been possible. Our Christmas was spent with a family who had also just moved out there away from their family members. Anyway, its just amazing at all the cherished memories we are able to create- we just have to remember to keep our eyes/ hearts open. Along with all these memories have come some intense learning and building faith experiences. For me personally, it definitely has not been easy and I continue to have my share of building up my faith and trust. Hence I am so grateful to have such a dedicated and patient husband who supports me personally no matter how I'm reacting :)

What of other news.... My baby girls are sick... and have been sick back and forth for the last 3 weeks but now both have it. So hopefully now that we're settled I can tackle it once and for all!!! My poor babies!!! Otherwise just tackling the unpacking and organizing stuff. And as it now just seems to be as with every major move- what comes hand in hand with it?!?! Well, yes, surprise again- Coming this Summer of 2011.... ;)
